Choco-story, France                                                                                                                    

A chocolate museum located in a three-story space on the bustling grands boulevards, is a fascinating exploration of the world of Theobroma cacao, from bean to bar and beyond. Beautifully presented exhibits (with notes in French, English and Spanish) explain its history, cultivation and fabrication methods. Displays include an extraordinary collection of 1,000 cocoa-related objects and utensils including metates (grinding stones), historical treatises, chocolate pots, advertising memorabilia and early processing machinery. Films, a live demonstration showing the making of filled chocolates and, of course, a tasting complete the visit.

chocolatier, whose family has since 1912 in Cote St. Andre, Peter Jouvenal tells you the fabulous history of chocolate. On the menu: history, geography, botany, the work of the artisan creations and tastings.

Valter BOVETTI, chocolate craftsman, has created the chocolate museum to make you discover all from the magic product that is cocoa from the cocoa bean to the making of the chocolate that you will see. All the children will make their own chocolate molding. At the end of the tour, children and adults discover the flavors with the tasting of single origins of chocolate and several specialties of the chocolate factory.

The Chocolate Museum in Fecamp is a small chocolate factory and museum. The chocolate is first class, and can be bought at the adjacent shop. The museum tour starts with an 11 minute film presentation (multiple languages available), followed by a tour of the small museum.

Subtle fragrant scent of cocoa in a room of 60 seats on the 1st floor of the Chocolate: film, exhibition on chocolate with comments, demonstration, tasting, possibility of buying chocolate at a discounted price.
Dating back to the late 1800s this chocolate factory still produces candy with Nemours's specialty: poppies. Des Lis Chocolat makes a wide selection of both poppy chocolates and candies. It has even added liquor infused with poppies to their repertoire. Satisfy your sweet tooth and take a guided tour of this traditional Nemours treat.

A sweet little place… It starts you off with a film about where and how chocolate is produced and then offers a handful of galleries devoted to chocolate molds and sculptures (created by Serge Couzigou), vintage advertising and packaging, and tools and machines from around the world and through the eras. At the end of the visit, you’re rewarded for your attentiveness with a cup of rich hot cocoa. And, of course, you’re spit out into the museum shop, where you can buy the house chocolate bars, bonbons, cocoa and cakes.
