The Perugina Historical Museum was founded in 1997, in 90  anniversary of the founding of the company, as a derivation of the wide Buitoni Perugina Historical Archive, established in the seventies on the basis of a competition aimed at companies that have been able to represent the Italian image in the world . The Perugina Historical Museum is visited every year by about 60,000 visitors.                                                                                                                                 

The path of Perugina Historical Museum is divided into four sections:                       

1. From cocoa to chocolate
2. A history of business
3. Products and Sales Network
4. Communications                                                                                                                       

At the center of an exhibition of production equipment and packaging Perugia from 1907 to present. The itinerary audiovisual three locations:                                                        
 • a video technician on working with chocolate
• archive footage thirties and fifties on corporate life
• Italian advertisement for a collection of commercials from the carousel in 1957 to modern advertising

The passion and love for this unique product has led, in 1995, the opening of "Chocolate Museum" for Italy. You'll meet Maya's tools, some indications on the cocoa plantations, packaging and advertising of the early twentieth century, an old chocolate factory was completely rebuilt with original equipment, and you can get interesting information on the manufacture of chocolate in the video room and, especially, will find “La Fonte Chocolate”.
